Founded nearly a decade ago, the Durham University Bar Society has grown to become a cornerstone of our university's legal community, boasting a vibrant membership of over 250 students.

Our mission remains steadfast: to inspire and support aspiring barristers through mentorship schemes, nationwide advocacy, mock trial competitions, insightful events, and engaging social activities. Together, we cultivate the skills and connections necessary for a successful career at the Bar.

I am privileged to lead our society as President for the 2024/25 term. I am incredibly excited about our new executive team and the initiatives we have planned for the year ahead.
