Since its establishment in 2016, the Durham University Bar Society has grown to become a cornerstone of our university's legal community, boasting a vibrant membership of over 250 students.

As we approach our 10 year anniversary, our mission remains steadfast: to inspire and support aspiring barristers through our mentorship scheme, developing and strengthening our advocacy skills, mock trial competitions, insightful events, and engaging social activities with others pursuing the same goal. Together, we cultivate the skills and connections necessary for a successful career at the Bar.

I am incredibly honoured to lead our society as President for the 2025/26 term and am lucky to do so with such a dedicated and brilliant executive team.
